This pet portrait of Dolly the Jack Russell Terrier is a favourite of mine. The side profile pose shows the dignity and grace of this dog who is now no longer with us unfortunately. Dolly belonged to me and she lived until she was 17 years old. She was in her prime as she is painted here, and she will live on looking out from above the fireplace.
